About this place

Maranat Twin Falls (also called Maranat Falls) sits at the foot of Mt. Oriod on the Bulacan–Rizal boundary, a well-known side-trip for hikers coming down from Mt. Balagbag. Two cascades flow into cool, shallow pools framed by rolling greenery. Because it straddles the provincial boundary, some trails approach it from the Rizal side (via Barangay Macabud, Rodriguez) rather than directly from Norzagaray town proper.

A real test to your physical health. Be prepared for some climbing and crawling due to stair-like routes. Pack light and enjoy 😉

akala ko hindi nako makakabalik ng buhay after taking this hike uphill and downhill also with sharp grass around you but all of that vanish after we see the falls

Not yet open for the public. Maranat falls require permit from DENR region 3 because going to the falls encompasses crossing one of Ipo Dam's watershed, a DENR protected area. Pictures below are from watershed, the farthest you could go from jumpoff in san jose del monte city.
