The river itself is good, it was shallow, crystal clear, though the park and cottage were too pricy for the place. I recommend going there with your own tent or big umbrella to avoid costly picnic or summer getaway. We went there on holy Thursday.

My visit to Pogpog Resort was generally satisfactory. The natural river setting provides a pleasant atmosphere. 🏞️ The presence of individuals enjoying the water suggests recreational opportunities. 🏊 A decent destination for relaxation. 😌 The surroundings appeared well-maintained. 🌳

I was very disappointed with our stay at this resort. The place looks nice at first, but the experience was not enjoyable because there seemed to be a payment required at every corner of the road. Almost everything had an extra charge, which made the visit stressful instead of relaxing. We asked to be paid 20 pesos at first toll. 60 pesos for the next and another 60 pesos for the entrance 'daw'. We also paid 60 pesos for the parking that we didn't know that had a payment since no one said there was, even tho there is a person that we asked where to park and he said it's free to park there. Overall, I would not recommend this resort unless they improve their pricing system and become more transparent about their fees.

This is correct. Usually, all rivers in Norzagaray have these fees - an environmental fee (per person), a private property fee, and an entrance fee (per person). The Norzagaray government should address this to help boost their tourism.
